Asheville, NC 28801 (Asheville nursing jobs / North Carolina travel nurse) Role: Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing assignment Adult Med Surg / Trauma Unit Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130 (estimated travel nurse pay) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per pay period Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of North Carolina requirements) At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in Med Surg or Trauma nursing Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills Provide direct patient care to adult trauma and med-surg patients, prioritizing patient safety and high-quality outcomes Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to changes in patient status Assess patient conditions, escalate and report changes in acuity to the care team promptly Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, physicians, and other team members to coordinate patient care Float to other med-surg units or the ED holding pod as needed to support staffing and patient flow Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, attend shift huddles, and maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR Why Join This Travel Nursing Opportunity Work at a nationally recognized hospital with strong clinical teams in Asheville, NC Experience the outdoors, arts, and community life of the Blue Ridge Mountains while on assignment Competitive weekly pay for travel nurses and the opportunity to expand trauma and med-surg skills Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Trauma RN in Asheville, NC.
