    Job Role & Responsibilities

    Role:
    To carry out CAE Analysis of 2W / 3W / 4W Power Train System (Engine, Transmission, EV motor, Battery & MCU). Should have analysis experience in following areas:
    • Vehicle / Engine / Motor / Transmission / Parts etc Meshing and Assembly
    • Crank & Valve Train MBD / Gasket Sealing / HCF & LCF / PSD Analysis
      • CAE-Test Correlation

    Responsibilities:
    • To plan and execute the meshing and analysis-based requirements/problems.
    • To perform modal / FRF / PSD analysis of intake & exhaust systems and correlate with test
    • Engine Multi Body Dynamics relate to crank train, valve train, Trans
    • To perform all durability related simulations for 5C components (Crank, Conrod, Camshaft, Cyl. Head & Cyl. Block)
    • To perform non-linear sealing analysis of gaskets
    • EV Rotor & Stator durability related simulations
    • Recommend countermeasures to the design group after analysis.
    • To meet Time & Quality targets set for the activity.
    • Analysis report preparation

    Competency Requirements

    Technical/ Functional:
    • Should be familiar with automobile power train system terminology (Engine, Transmission, EV motor, Battery & MCU).
    • Good knowledge of Analysis tools like ANSYS, Altair Tools (Hypermesh, Hyperview, Simlab, Optistruct), ABAQUS, RICARDO tools (Valkyn, Valdyn, Engdyn, Pisdyn etc.), ADAMS & AVL Excite (Designer & PU)
    • Knowledge related to strain gauges, accelerometer, load cell etc.
    Exposure to part, subsystems, system analysis and process of countermeasure development.

      Specific expertise required for functional area:
      • Good theoretical knowledge and analytical ability
      • Fundamental knowledge related to CAE Power Train System (Critical)
