Event Marketing Manager / Senior Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and growth-driven Event Marketing Manager to lead Event Quest’s next phase of expansion.

This role goes beyond selling events. You will play a critical role in shaping EQ’s growth strategy by building long-term client partnerships, strengthening market positioning, and translating EQ’s internal strengths into scalable, market-facing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy &

  • Business Development

  • Drive sales growth by expanding EQ’s market presence and securing new business opportunities across relevant sectors.
  • Lead major business proposals, pitches, and negotiations by translating client objectives into strategic event and marketing solutions.

Marketing Strategy

  • Design and execute a growth-driven sales and marketing strategy with clear funnels, segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Analyse market trends, client needs, and sales performance to continuously refine growth plans and pricing strategies.
  • Support company strategic growth initiatives through integrated marketing efforts.
  • Gather market insights, monitor industry trends, and analyse customer behaviour to identify opportunities for new service offerings and business segments.

Brand &

  • Market Positioning

  • Strengthen EQ’s positioning as an Event Marketing Agency, not just an event organiser.
  • Communicate and elevate EQ’s brand story, values, and capabilities across all client and stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Increase company visibility through thought leadership, partnerships, networking, and strategic marketing channels.

Team Leadership &

  • Capability Building

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Sales &
    • Marketing team.

  • Coach team members to adopt a consultative, value-based selling approach.
  • Requirements

    • Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably within the event, creative, or service industry.
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance creativity, commercial goals, and operational realities.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Solid project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing teams.
    • Growth mindset with the ability to think strategically and long-term.
