Account Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Extract, analyse and tally financial information from in-house operating system.
  • Perform account payables functions (which include posting of invoices, process payment, update payment summary, update cash book & bank record accordingly).
  • Process daily online bank transactions.
« Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Finalise financial transactions and update general ledgers in accounting software.
  • Liaise with external stakeholder i.e. auditor, tax agent, banker and other third parties on job related matters.
  • Ensure proper filing of accounting records & documents.
  • Prepare various management financial reports.
  • Accomplish work related activities or tasks assigned by superior as needed.
Job Related Experience & Knowledge:
  • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Related working experience in accounting is an added advantage.

Education:

  • Diploma in Accounting.
